Does this scraper need a TikTok login or API key?
No. It reads the public Creative Center hashtag trend data over HTTP, with no account, no login and no API key.
Why did some of my hashtags return nothing?
Only hashtags that TikTok includes in its public trend index return data. Very generic or low-volume tags may not be tracked. Leave the Hashtags field empty to let the actor discover trending hashtags that are guaranteed to resolve.
What does the week-over-week value mean?
videoViewsWow and postCountWow are growth rates comparing the current week to the previous one. A value of 0.5 means a 50 percent increase, and -0.4 means a 40 percent decrease.
Are the view and post counts specific to one country?
TikTok reports global view and post counts for each hashtag. The Region setting selects the market and language context and the canonical hashtag URL, but the counts themselves are global.
How many hashtags can I collect in one run?
Set Max Items to control the volume. With trend discovery on, the actor keeps following the related hashtag graph and collecting new hashtags until it reaches your limit.
Can I sort results or filter out small hashtags?
Yes. Use Sort by to order results by views, posts or growth, Only rising hashtags to keep the ones growing week over week, and Minimum video views or Minimum post count to drop low-volume tags. All filters are off by default.
Does it return a fixed trend rank or industry category?
No. TikTok keeps the ranked leaderboard and industry classification behind a login, so no keyless scraper can return a true rank number or industry for a hashtag without an account. This actor gives you the growth-based `trend` label and the full growth rates instead, which is the honest public signal.
