How does the local company number help?
Each record includes the registration authority and the entity's identifier at that authority (its local company number), which lets you connect an LEI to the official record in the relevant national business registry.
Can I trace corporate ownership?
Yes. When a direct or ultimate parent is reported, the record includes that parent's LEI so you can walk the ownership chain.
Do empty runs cost anything?
No. You are only charged for real LEI records returned. A run that matches nothing produces no billable results.
