Under the US Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act, employers must give advance notice of a mass layoff or a plant closing. Those notices are filed with the state and published, which is the data this actor collects.
Which states are covered?
Texas and Oregon are supported today, selectable from the state dropdown. Each state publishes its own official WARN filings.
Can I filter to recent notices only?
Yes. Set a notice date from and/or to (YYYY-MM-DD) to keep only notices filed inside that window, and add a keyword to focus on a specific employer or area.
How fresh is the data?
Notices are read live at run time, so each record reflects what the state has published at the moment of the run (see observedAt).
