It covers every company registered in Chile's Registro de Empresas y Sociedades, the simplified "Empresa en un Día" regime created by Ley 20.659. The data spans incorporations from 2013 through the current year, more than one million companies including SpA, limited liability companies (SRL), individual companies (EIRL) and others.
Can I look up a specific company by RUT?
Yes. Add one or more RUT numbers and the scraper returns one record per matching company with its legal name, type, capital and dates. You can also search by company name, filter by company type, tax region or incorporation year.
How many records can I get per run?
Each yearly dataset holds tens to hundreds of thousands of companies, so you can collect anywhere from a single RUT lookup up to the full set for the years you select. Use Max Items to cap the output.
Does it include legal representatives, partners or share ownership?
No. Those details live only in the registry's individual act extracts, which sit behind a CAPTCHA and are not part of the open bulk dataset. This scraper returns the structured registry fields that are reliably available: legal name, RUT, type, capital, dates and location.
Why are some years larger than others?
The registry publishes one dataset per year and the number of new companies grows over time, so recent years contain far more records. Pick the specific years you need to keep runs fast and focused.
