It reads the official Government of Canada open data feed of federal tender opportunities. The default "Open tenders" feed lists every currently open opportunity, around 900 notices on a typical day, across all federal departments and participating entities.

Set Max Items to any number up to the full feed. The open feed holds roughly 900 currently open tenders and the new feed holds the most recent notices and amendments. Results come back sorted newest first by publication date.

Yes. You can filter by free-text keyword (matched against title, description and organization), by procurement category (Goods, Services, Construction, Services related to goods), by delivery region or province, and by a published-after date. All filters are optional and combine together.

Yes. Most notices include the contracting entity, a contact name, a contact email and a phone number, plus the GSIN and UNSPSC category codes and the trade agreements that apply. Some fields such as GSIN appear only on goods tenders, so they can be empty on services or construction notices.

The run records an error field instead of failing silently, so you always get a clear result. Every successful record also carries an observedAt timestamp marking when it was collected.
